The site you have accessed is operating as Turkey Materials Marketplace (TMM) platform. The platform undertakes to protect the privacy of the visitors. TMM does not sell the personal data the visitors enter on the Site to any third party, nor may it lease or make such data available in any other manner. The platform respects the users’ right to privacy, and keeps any data the users enter on the site in confidence. This website provides maximum confidentiality available on the Internet environment. TMM may not be held liable for any damage that may be caused by any third party’s legal or illegal actions to any person or entity. 

Use of personal details

Personal details are collected to make communication and use of service possible. The details can be used for communication between TMM and users and also for direct communication between users. Some personal details are visible on the profile page of the user, but those details are voluntary (except name).

Third parties may be engaged to process or analyze the data collected through the website. Your Personal Data can also be shared with other users or third parties in order to deliver/supply your requested material. Such users and other third parties are in no way authorized to use your Personal Data. 

The handling of personal details is not outsourced, but the register data is stored on a server that is rented from a third party company.

Information content of the register

The following information may be stored in the register:

• Personal details: Name, email address, phone number, street address
• Account details: username, password (stored in encrypted format)
• The description text that the user may write about him/herself
• The offers and requests the user has posted to the service
• The given and received feedback and badges
• Statistical data about service usage, e.g. number times the user has logged in

Regular sources and handovers of the information

Personal details are given by the user on registration to the service or when using it later. The information may be handed over for research purposes by TMM  as described in the Terms of use that the user accepts before starting to use the service.  

This website contains password-protected non-public sections. Unauthorized acquisition, viewing, copying, reproduction, redistribution of the information and/or unauthorized use of the tools in these sections in any way, “as is” or modified, in part or in whole, constitutes an offense.

The privacy policy terms are issued by BCSD Turkey and BCSD Turkey is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, and that EBRD cannot be considered liable under any circumstances.
